Walking into the court, I was fuming with rage. “How can you pass on such a decree without your Alpha being here?” I glared at him. Looking at the guards who were ready to take her and execute her, I felt like snapping their necks. They were a bunch of fools!
The council of elders whispered amongst themselves. “She has no evidence to state otherwise and the witness here has confirmed the culprits' deeds. The victim in question happens to be her mate. Miss Maliya here has nothing to say in her favor.” One of the elders explained.
I gave him a disgusted look as I walked up to my throne. Sometimes I wonder how dumb they could be. “You all have no right to give the verdict, bring her back here, and listen to my verdict,” I commanded.
