Waking up to the sound of water drops I looked around the dark place. I had no idea what time of the day it was. My body felt so weak, it was due to the fact that I had slept on an empty stomach. The thought of everything that happened so far filled my heart with sadness.
Even the slaves of this pack were treated far better than I was. Here I was in a cell for something I knew nothing about. I was facing a punishment for someone else's crime. Mia had planned all this, but I was the one being punished. The fact that Alpha Xander made me spend a few days here was pissing me off. “You need to be strong, you can't lose hope Maliya.
