I lay on my bed, deep in thought instead of sleeping. Well, the truth is that I couldn't sleep ... my eyes were unable to shut since Gideon had said he would visit me at midnight with the information about what he had been investigating.
About searching the Chief Minister’s house, I kept that pending because I have to get feedback from Gideon first about my parents.
I looked at the clock and it was 1 am already, yet I wasn't feeling sleepy. I sat up on the bed, staring at the clock, and contemplating what was holding him. “He should be here by now, I just hope he wasn't caught or whatever.” I climbed down from the bed and moved to the window, opened the cotton to see him standing there.
