Chapter Three – Decision Time CARRIE PULLED UP THE zip on her Transgalactic Galactic Liaison Officer jumpsuit. With her other hand, she drew a sleeve across her teary face and checked it in her bedroom mirror. She swallowed the sob that was rising in her throat. Dave was waiting in her kitchen. The transgalactic gateway under her sink would open in less than five minutes, and they would be travelling together to their assignment briefing before embarking on their mission back in time to find the placktoids.
