Chapter Eighteen – Drop Outs THUMPING HER HAND ON the surface of the lump, Carrie almost called Dave’s name but stopped herself just in time. There was no point in getting her friend out if she attracted the attention of the placktoids. The wall of her friend’s tomb was like fibreglass. Her fist didn’t even make an impression.
