After hearing Anna’s reply to their inquiry, Allie and Dorian were dumbfounded by her blunt response.
“Excuse me? What?” Allie could all but say.
“Don’t take it the wrong way, Luna. I don’t mean to be disrespectful,” Anna quickly said. “I mean it in a literal sense. Because I’m not supernatural, in a sense, at least, for that reason, I don’t answer to any other person, creature, or deity. I only answer to the Holy Trinity.”
