The following day, as planned initially, Leroy went to pick up Dorian’s parents and the Alpha pups. Allie was on pins and needles since it would be her first time seeing them in almost two weeks. She wanted to go with Leroy, but Dorian made her stay back so that the kids didn’t become too energized in the car on their way back. Allie agreed, albeit very reluctantly. We were all in the dining room awaiting their arrival.
“Babe, did HR ever have a chance to review my cousin’s resume?” she asked Dorian. We all looked at him with curiosity.
