"Natalie?" Her name slips out of his mouth without a second thought.
"And Ava…" A sleepy someone says from the corner of his eye but he's only got eyes for the one who's got his heart skipping like a dear hoping about a grassy meadow happily.
He doesn't know whether to rush over to her or just stay put and take in her beauty that's shinning under the night lights.
"Hi." She seems to tuck a bunch of hair behind her ear but it all just falls back in the same place.
For a moment he just stands there gaping at her.
"This is clearly a surprise." And he must look really weird as different emotions sweep across his face.
"You are here..." He breathes out as he draws closer, blinking so many times trying to make sure it's really her.
"What changed?" He is tempted to ask but doesn't. Afraid
