Natalie rests her head on her hand. Her heart is fluttering like crazy.
"He missed me?"
Turns out she thought wrong all along.
Every time Brendan appeared with Joanne hanging on to him her heart would sting like crazy. And instead of forgetting like she promised herself she would time and time again, she always ended up torturing herself with thoughts of him ending up with Joanne.
