On Mondays, Jake had a half-hour break between classes at one. He usually grabbed a bite to eat in the student union cafeteria, and most of the time he found Holly already seated. Her class schedule didn’t really coincide with his much, but on Mondays, she was usually in the caff. During lunchtime, it could be difficult to find a place to sit. She wouldn’t stay long, because she had a Lit class at 1:15, but if Jake saw her, he’d join her and claim her spot for his own. Unfortunately, as soon as Jake exited the lunch line, he noticed she wasn’t sitting by herself. Evan was with her, damn.
