Chapter 3
Evan arrived that night at Fifteen Bloods Point Street with great trepidation. He spotted a cop cruiser outside the apartment, thankful its presence kept the hoodlums away. He'd only been down this road a few times, but he recognized the street name from court papers. He spotted Calloway standing by the building's entrance with a man and a woman. Evan parked next to the cruiser, locked his doors, and greeted Calloway.
“Good to see you,” Calloway said, shaking Evan's hand. He wore a navy blazer and khakis, looking quite authoritative. “Evan Booth, this is Officer Oxendine and Lena Willis, the owner of the building.”
