Chapter 2 The workday done, Evan Booth returned to his temporary home, hoping to find dinner made and to have a chance to relax. Instead, his boyfriend hosted an informal business meeting in the living room, the dog needed taking out, and he had to cook a rotisserie chicken. A twenty-nine year old attorney, Evan spent his days defending the downtrodden and protecting the little guy. It didn't pay well and he yearned for more stability at home.
