Chase woke up energized and ready to tackle the day. He looked over at Rebecca, curled up into his side, the sun shining through the skylights and basking her in early morning rays. She looked more than beautiful; she looked peaceful and angelic. They never did make it to Trivia Night, though it wasn’t for a lack of him trying. He even managed to get them in the truck before Bex started kissing him on his neck and insisting they go back to her place.
