The medicine was starting to wear off and I was beginning to feel uncomfortable, but no pain…yet. I could hear my mother whispering in the corner with Talon while Mariah slept in the chair. How long ago did she get here? I wonder how long I've been asleep. Is it still the same day even? I decided to turn my attention back to my mother and Talon before my mind could race further.
