Ezmeralda POV:
Ash's piercing blue eyes burned into mine,
“Ezmeralda, there is something I need to speak to you about..” he started, before he was cut off by my phone ringing. I dug it out of my pocket to see that it was Dahlia calling me. I looked over at my mother and Mariah, only to see Mariah staring wide eyed back at me and my heart sunk.
“I’m sorry, I have to get this.” I hesitated before answering the phone.
“Dahlia.. Is everything alright?” I uttered quickly, not liking the look on Mariah's face.
“Everything is fine, is mom around you? I need to tell you guys something.” Dahlia admitted which made my heart sink further. I looked up to see Ash staring at me looking very confused.
