Chapter 3

Dylan

I woke up in the middle of the woods with the birds chirping and the sun streaming through the trees onto my face. I sat up and rubbed my neck. Looking around I had no clue where I was or how I got here. I closed my eyes and just focus on what I could hear. 

I could hear rushing water in the distance so I stood up and headed towards the sound of water. As I walk past the trees I soon discoved a waterfall. Walking towards the bottom of a waterfall I got onto my knees and begin to scoop up the water and drink it. It is the most delicious water I've ever tasted. It kinda taste like melon. You know a honey dew melon just like that.

As I finished drinking I just sat there. "Where am I?" I said aloud knowing no one could hear me or would respond. I look around and notice smoke not to far in the sky.

'We should go towards the smoke.' A voice said in my head."whose there?" I said as I looked around.

'My name is Raw your wolf.'

"Wait when did I get my wolf? What happened?"

My wolf chuckled. 'The night of your sixteenth birthday silly. And you do not have to speak aloud but you can speak to me in your mind.'

'Ok. Well I guess towards the smoke we go.'

The only way to the other side of the river would be to swim. I swam across the body of water for awhile and when I got out I pulled my shirt off and began to head towards the direction of the smoke.

I walked past alot of trees and eventually came to a clearing. There was a small cottage. I just stood there admiring my surroundings. I saw a young women walk out of the cottage and I headed towards the closest tree and hid behind it looking at her.

She had silver hair, olive skin and was about five eight in height. She wore a black skirt and a pink tank top. She carried a basket and began to hang clothing. She looked about eighteen years old.

'She smells so good.' My wolf said.

I sniffed the air and the smell of apples and cinnamon hit my nose.

'That she does.'

'She is our mate.'

'Wait what?'

'She is our mate. Go to her.'

I stood there in shock and just watched her.

After she hung the clothing she went back into the cottage. 'Go to her.'

'I can't.'

'Why?'

'What if she hates me?'

'She is our other half she will not hate us.'

'Why our you not being all pushie like most wolves?'

'Because you our enough pushie for both of us.'

I chuckled. 'Just go.'

I began to walk towards the house and when I got to the wood door I knocked. The women answered and shock came across her face.

"Hhhhow did you get here? No one comes here." She said. With worry crossing her beautiful face. 

'Mine.' Raw said. 

Ignoring my wolf I looked at my beautiful mate. Her hair was long and she had the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen. I was already in love. 

"Where is here?" 

"Who our you first of all?" 

"I'm Dylan and you our?" 

"Airalynn and your in my prison." 

Morgan 

I was laying in my bed when I felt the air around me turn ice cold. I could hear Hunter finally. He left hours ago and now he is back. I pulled the covers over me but the temperature kept dropping. My teeth began to chatter and all of a sudden I heard him walk by the door. 

"The darkness is taking over." 

"I know." 

"No I will not do that." he yelled. He was having a one sided conversation. 

'Probably talking to his wolf.' 

'Ya. I'm so cold.' 

'Shift I will keep us warm.' 

"Shut up wolf!" He screamed as the temperature dropped again and the house shaked. I undressed and shifted into my wolf. 

'Thank you Mace.' I said tuning Hunter out. 

'No thanks needed.' We curled up on the bed and rested our head on the pillow and began to fall asleep. 

As night turned to day the sun began to shine into my room and on my face. Mace stretched out and began to move when all of a sudden Hunters voice filled the air. "Seriously!" I looked at him. "Your wolf belongs outside and not in this room." I jumped off the bed and shifted into my human form but once Hunter realized I was naked he turned around. "Get dressed now." 

"Good morning to you to. How was your night?" I said as I got dressed. Yes I ignored his attitude because today was a new day and new beginning.  

"My night does not matter but what does is that you allowed that beast out in my house. Animals belong outside." 

"Wow. My wolf is apart of me. So I am an animal." 

'You tell him.' Macey said with pride lacying her voice. 

'Anytime.' 

"And I'm dressed but I wouldn't have needed to shift if the house wasn't in the negative temperatures " I said as I put my socks back on. "And while we our on a demanding topic I need a bathroom not a bucket to pee in and a shower with clean clothing." 

"Always needing something and the temperature in the house is perfect, its just you." 

"If your going to always be an ass just go." I said while crossing my arms. 

"Fine." He said and just vanished. 

"What a dick." I said to the air. 

I sat back down on the bed hoping my actions don't cause me any further consequences.
