She kept looking at me. she closed and opened her mouth more times than I can count, she obviously didn’t know what to say.
I went back to reading my book and heard her slam the book she was holding on the table.
“I can’t believe you; I am trying to understand you and yet you call me names” she said, and I looked up.
She really is stupid, does she think that life is some kind of book,
that I am someone she can lie to?
“you are trying to understand me, why?” I asked her and she looked around as if thinking of an answer.
“because, because we are stuck together in this marriage.
