After getting her wound, (which hadn't begun to show any signs of healing despite her feeling no pain from it), cleaned and rebandaged, Louisa followed James and Amon out of her room. It was the second time she was leaving the room after that unforgettable day she had tried to run away, and it felt good to no longer be treated like a prisoner. They passed several closed doors in the passageway until they got to a room located on the side of the building farthest from the front entrance, located above ground level but not on the top floor.
