Mom soon left after that. With a promise that she would do everything to help fix this. But knowing the truth, I doubted there would be a clean way out of it. They would hate me for the truth. Without any intention of leaving the office, I stayed there. My shoulders fell and my back was leaning heavily on the chair. My bag and the paper bag were still with my friends. I forgot to get them. I think they forgot to give them to me, too. Tanner was the one holding them and he was a little dazed out when they led me here.
