The Alpha's Rejected Fairy

Chapter 1

FAY'S POV:

The whispers around me grew louder as I edged the Castle's waterfall .

'Who invited that wretched child.'

'She has no shame .'

'They should have killed her along with her parents .'

My jaw clenched , I didn't need a constant reminder of the brutal murder of my parents ten years ago .

Yes murder.

The people of my kingdom didn't see it as murder , saw the killing of my parents as justice from the system .According to them ,my parents got what they deserved for betraying our precious kingdom.

Swallowing my anger ,I held my head high as I walked past the whisperers .I'd gotten used to their gruesome words by now , as a child it was hard to stomach their angry glares , I would walk past them with my head bowed in shame but as I grew older I learnt to ignore them .Learnt to survive each day knowing that the people of my kingdom hated me , their once beloved princess was now somewhat of an outcast to them , someone who brought the land shame.

"Fay my dear."The annoying call of my aunt Fiona brought me out of my deep thoughts .

After the death of my parents , my father's brother Henry and his wife Fiona took over the ruling of our kingdom.My three cousins , Layla , Tiana  and  Seth quickly became the beloved children of the fairy folks .

Today was a glorious day for the fairies , our annual rainbow festival was finally here , a day that not only fairies treasured but every other species that inhabited Mytheland as well .Everyone enjoyed the show that the light fairies put on as they lit the crystal clear waters with bright colors while they danced  , it was always a beautiful sight to see , it was an event created by my parents  .I remembered accompanying them every year when I was a child ,it was something I looked forward too , that is until the year they died .

After that I never attended a single one of these events , I hated the constant reminder that my parents were no longer here with me and I also didn't appreciate the disgusted looks sent my way by my own people ,however aunt Fiona had insisted I attend this year , threatened that she wouldn't give me food for a week if I didn't comply .

So here I was , hating every second of it .

"Yes Aunt Fiona."

"Look down when you speak to me child ."She snapped .

My teeth gritted against themselves in annoyance as I unwillingly obeyed her orders .

"Good ."She chided me. "Layla and Tiana need someone to clean their shoes for them , as you know my daughters need to look spectacular today as many suited princes would be here for the event  .I don't want a single hair on their heads out of place .So for the entire day tend to whatever they ask of you and do it as quickly as you can or there would be serious consequences."She threatened .

For once I was glad I had my head bowed , I wouldn't like to see the look on her face while giving me these orders .

Didn't like looking at her face period .After the death of my parents , Aunt Fiona had made my life a living hell and my uncle Henry did nothing to stop it .They both treated me as though I were a slave , in fact I believe slaves received better treatment than I did .

"Yes Aunt Fiona ."I responded turning to leave from by her side , I didn't want to stay besides her a moment longer .

"Stop child ." She called . "What do you say when you leave from my presence ?"

Sigh .

I inwardly cringed at the words I knew she wanted to hear , each time I would hope that she had forgotten about it but was disappointed every God damn time .

"I bid thee farewell beautiful queen ."I mumbled as I forced the words out of my mouth .

There was nothing beautiful about her , neither inside nor out and she was most definitely not worthy of the title of a queen . My mother was everything a queen should be and more ,she carried herself with dignity and grace , this woman was nothing close to her and would never be .

CAYDEN’S POV:

"FREDERICK !" I roared , my angry voice shaking the windows of the palace .

It was seconds before the door flew open and the young slave boy came crashing in .I was used to his entrances by now , every day he always happened to break something within my castle . I silently cursed my brother Kade , he was the one who volunteered Frederick as my slave and I foolishly accepted .The boy was anything but good at his job.In fact , a f*****g bird could do a better job than him .

"Yes my master , what can I do for you ?"

My eyes narrowed . "Did you forget to inform me of a certain event that was happening today ?" I asked in a deadly calm tone .

The young boy trembled before me . "I -I.."

"It's a yes or no question boy!"

"No master."

"No?" I asked . "Then why was I just informed that today is the Rainbow Festival of the Light Fairies ?"

The boy gave a surprised gasp as he begun to shiver uncontrollably. "I-I'm s-sorry— "

"GET OUT!" I roared , not wanting to see the peasant in front of my eyes .

Now I was late , I f*****g hated to be late , being on time is something I was known for , among many other things ,like the great s*x lord for instance .

How long has it been since I'd last had rough meaningless s*x with a she wolf?

Too f*****g long .

It was starting to affect me , I was constantly in a bad mood .I needed to let off some of the steam .

"Having a rough day brother ?"Kade asked entering with a huge grin .

I wanted to punch it right off his face .

"I hate attending this event every f*****g year ." I snapped .

I really did , the only reason I ever went in the first place was because of a vision one of the most powerful witches of Mytheland had foreseen 10 years ago , she claimed that's where I would find my mate .

I was in no rush to find my mate , however the chances of finding your mate is usually very slim , so if I had a head start I didn't want to miss it and so every year I went to that stupid event hosted by the fairy folks .

The cheerful creatures disgusted me , in fact I hated them more than I did those bloodsucking vampires .

"Look on the bright side ." He started while I waited impatiently for him to finish . "There may be many she wolves there , we can get laid tonight brother !"

That was indeed a bright side .

Unless I did happen to find my mate today which I highly doubted , today felt like any normal day , nothing felt special about it at all .

When male werewolves found their mate they were no longer able to have s*x with anyone else but her , it was simply impossible as they wouldn't even be able to have an erection with anyone else but her .It was quite sickening , the only way out of it was if your mate died and the God's blessed you with another .

Having spoken to other males who'd already found their mate , you would know it's her instantly as just the sight of her gives you an instant hard on that you carry with you until you get release .They said the feelings are so strong you just can't miss it , your wolf goes wild along with your mind,  body , heart and soul.

“Unless you find her today.”Kade added as if reading my mind. “At least if that happens mother would stop bothering you about Clarissa.”

Clarissa was a she wolf I’d slept with on countless occasions , her father a powerful Alpha . Ever since mother had learnt of our activities she wanted us together so that I could form an alliance with her father ,unfortunately she wasn’t the only one , Clarissa did as well , they both wouldn’t f*****g leave me alone .

“Enough talk about that.”I stopped him , not interested in that conversation . “We’re already f*****g late because of that good for nothing slave boy you recommended for me.”

Kade held his chest , feigning hurt . “This is the kind of thanks I get for doing someone a favor ?”

“I hope you’re happy dear brother when I return the same favor to you.”I said over my shoulders as I strolled out the hall.

“Look at all those f*****g fairies .”I grunted as the carriage came to a stop , the small creatures were happily going about their activities , not a care in the world for anything else.

Kade gave me an amused look. “Well we ARE in the Light Fairies Kingdom brother.”

We had just gotten here and I desperately wanted to leave already, that is until my feet touched the ground and I got a whiff of the air around me .

A sweet lavender scent hit me harder than anything ever did in my entire life  , my nostrils flared , my shaft thickening in my pants .

Fuck .

I'd found her.
