Chapter Four
The sun had been up for several hours before anyone came to feed me. My body was sore from yesterday’s events as well as my uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, but it made no difference to them. Before long I was given another bowl of food. As I ate it on my hands and knees, I realized that it had the same texture and taste as before. God I hope they change the recipe sometime soon.
When I finished, I was taken out behind the barn once more to relieve myself. It was disgusting the way I was treated. As I covered the hole, I noticed a red circle outlined on the ground near me, put there with spray paint.
