It came as a welcome relief to Emily when Jayne and Amy arrived for their long weekend visit. She’d started to feel so bogged down by the drama of her life that she’d been craving something to bring her back to reality, and her New York City friends would be just that. The only downside to their arrival was that Amy had always been suspicious of Daniel, and Jayne had always been far too vocal about how attractive he was.
