The Converge of The Moon Goddess (#2)

Chapter 7- Anna

I settle in at Katy’s house, we have afternoon tea, watch television go for a swim but most of all we talk and gossip and laugh.

On the first day Alex had to go and do some pack stuff for a couple of hours and so we had some proper girly time.

I got all the gory details despite telling her to stop because a. She was embarrassing me. I really don’t want to know about what they got up between the sheets!

Katy kept laughing at my beetroot face, whilst I told her off for being shameless, but she reasoned everyone is going to know what she’s been up to when her belly gets bigger, and I can’t argue with that. Some of the things seem impossible, but she tells me Alex is a skilled and experienced lover and has shown her things that she could never even imagine. And from knowing Alex’s past I have no doubt that he is.

We are giggling like school girls in the lounge when Alex returns he asks why my face is so red and Katy laughs uncontrollably making me blush even more.

I am taken by surprise when Alpha Andrew walks in, I did not think I could go any redder. I am so relieved that I can hide behind Katy’s embarrassing stories.

I stand and bow to Alpha Andrew and Katy follows although she is still laughing. “Ladies there is no need for such formalities anymore we are family now. Good afternoon Katy, my brother told me your happy news and I just wanted to come and pass my congratulations in person, I cannot wait to be an uncle.”

Katy runs to her brother in laws side excitedly “thank you Andrew, Alex couldn’t wait to tell you. Will you stay for dinner with us?” she asks cheerfully. 

Andrew smiles back at her “that would be great thanks” I cannot help it, but my heart flutters with hope before I have a chance to get it under control.

Katy leaves to tell Mrs Jones there is one more for dinner, Alex says he needs to talk to wife for a second and follows her, so me and Andrew are left alone for the first time since the wedding,

I do not know what to say and we both go to talk at the same time. And then laugh a little and then it seems to relax us both. 

“I hope your keeping well Andrew?” I ask him as a chance a peek into his eyes.  

“I have had some... issues to deal with and my mother is still at the hospital, but apart from that things are good. What about you Anna? what had you blushing when we came in?” 

Damn! I was hoping we would just skirt over that. “Trust me you do not want to know what I have had to endure this afternoon, let’s just say Katy thinks it’s hilarious to embarrass me”.

He laughs a little at my explanation.  “You looked so cute I’m not surprised” he seemed to say it without thinking but then looks me in the eye, “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that. It is true but I apologise”.

My face is bright red again, and when he realises he laughs and then I laugh too! 

“I can’t believe my little brother is going to be a dad!  I’ve never seen him so happy” he adds, changing the subject.

“I’m grateful to the moon goddess for their blessings” I smile to show my agreement, for the moon goddess has proved herself not only fruitful but wise too.  Who would have thought that Alex and Katy could be a perfect pairing? Only the moon goddess herself could have dreamed this up but look how right she got it.

I turn to Andrew and say sincerely “Thank you for allowing me to visit, it means everything to me” he nods again and then Alex and Katy return to the room and me and Andrew, my fated mate return to being strangers to each other.
