Stewart looks at Helena.

While it feels strange to just drop in, find her mate and abandon her, it is the way their world is, the werewolf world is. Leave all behind to follow their fated mates. The fact that she is no longer welcome within the midnight pack also confirms the decision. Helena glances shyly from Roman to her father.
“Of course I am fine dad”
“I will pack up your things and bring them in the morning”
Helena just waves her hand dismissively, just wanting her father to leave so she can have some time with Roman.
Stewart nearly drags Dana from the scene as her strange expression is unsettling and he doesn’t want the reasonably peaceful atmosphere to break down by Dana saying something that she shouldn’t.
