Remi sensed there was trouble the moment she saw the guard wasn’t at his post.
Professor Salah had told them to visit him at his office after hours, coming in via the staff entrance. He would discuss the Ark with them over dinner. They were supposed to mention his name to the guard, who would be expecting them, and the guard would call up.
