"Hmm, I've never been here before."
Heinrich and Ezekiel heard Ezra's muttering, as the three were sitting in the horse carriage they rented to look for Ezra's missing grandfather.
Ezekiel found it a bit strange to hear Ezra's words which actually still sounded normal, while Heinrich wondered if Ezra might say that because she had never been here in her previous seven lives.
“But I didn't expect him to go this far from the Beryl residence in the West…” muttered Heinrich who closed his eyes again to see through his raven eyes.
“My grandfather is still very strong, and he has great survival instincts. He used to be a capable soldier,” explained Ezra. She was very grateful that her grandfather was not at the Beryl residence during Ethan Diamond's attack.
