When everyone finally gathered around the table, Harriet could clearly see Molly's expression. Everyone was acting normal except for the teenage girl.
"Molly, do you not like the chicken curry I made tonight?" asked Harriet.
"Ah!" Molly was surprised. "I-I like it, of course!"
The teenage girl began to lower her face towards her food. Abby did the same. It had been so long since she had tasted this delicious food. But in the middle of dinner that day, she had decided to force Molly to ask for their house's money.
She kicked Molly's leg so hard it made Molly groan softly with her mouth full of food.
Of course, Molly immediately understood what Abby wanted. She slowly swallowed her food and nervously looked at Harriet.
"Mrs Gold, can we talk after dinner?" Molly asked in a low voice.
