CHAPTER FIVE The next morning, Von sat on the deck with a cup of coffee and a bagel. This was his favorite spot in Indigo Bay, and it was all his. Buying his parents’ house after they retired had been his smartest move ever. Remodeling it himself, his second. He sipped the strong, hot liquid. That would keep him going with a ten-plus hour day ahead of him, but for now he could relax and enjoy the view.
