Chapter Eight In her dream Sax was gardening on a sun drenched morning outside a cute little bungalow with a white picket fence, married to the most perfect man in the world. Her husband had just called to her when she jerked awake out of her nice, very silly dream. She blinked away the haze of sleep and opened her eyes to the sight of Bryce. “Oh, okay. Bryce. Good.” He smiled at her. I’m not dead and he’s still handsome. In her dream it seemed her husband was Bryce. She suppressed a groan. It was a ridiculous thought. “Are we there yet?” she murmured. Bryce chuckled. “Yes,” he said simply. She raised her head and peered around her uncertain where exactly they were. But the world had at least steadied itself.
