Connie finished serving up their plates and then wiped her hands on her apron. “Well, I’m going to go check on things over at the gift shop, and I’ll leave you two together to talk. If you need anything, just holler for Ruby. I’m surprised she didn’t want to stay. I’m still so tickled that you two know each other. Small world, isn’t it?”
