CHAPTER 32 Elliot couldn’t remember a longer shift. Was that how the entire week would go before he returned to Orchard Grove? It wasn’t like him. He’d gone on exactly two dates since Amy died. One was with her sister who was as different from Amy as Seattle was from Orchard Grove. They’d ended the night with no hard feelings but with the very clear understanding that they’d never go out and preferably never talk to each other again.
