"Are you okay?" I asked, snapping her out of her thoughts. At first, she seemed startled, but she quickly regained her composure and nodded in response.
"Yes, I'm okay," she replied, but I could sense that something was amiss. It had only been ten minutes since I left her there, and her sudden reaction worried me.
I could sense that she was withholding something from me, but I didn't want to pressure her into revealing it. "Are you okay?" I asked once again, hoping for a more honest response. She simply nodded in reply.
The coronation ceremony concluded, and she was officially crowned as the queen of the empire. After bidding farewell to the guests, we headed towards our room.
