I tried talking Wayne out of it, tried to make him listen to me but I've never seen anyone as adamant as Wayne, he was headstrong and wasn't willing to back down all that easily.
I made my way to his study. I was going to talk to him about whether or not he likes it. Today was going to be the day when he won't be able to avoid me anymore.
But what was shocking was the fact that I met three guards, they were standing there headstrong and were guarding the study. I was confused, wondering how it had gotten to this.
“Good morning beta,” they greeted me.
I was still trying to process the new changes. “Um…What are you three doing here? The last time I checked, Wayne doesn't have any guards guarding his study," I said.
