I was seated in my palace with Alex, pondering over the letter that he had just handed me. I still couldn't believe that this was real and was happening, I took a deep breath again relieving myself of the stress.
“But I don't need to bother much about it,” I handed the letter back to him, making him raise his eyebrows. “My empire is well secured and I can guarantee that they won't come to attack.”
“Are you saying that all these are just empty threats?” Alex asked and I nodded in response.
“Pretty much, yeah,” I responded, making him scoff. “We haven't had a case of an attack in over ten years and if these people think that they have the balls then they would have to go through the security system first.”
