I was feeling very anxious wondering where we were heading to especially since we were both in the car and all alone with no one. He didn't say any word and neither did I, depicting the awkwardness between us both.
“Are you alright? Do you need anything?” Wayne asked, showing signs of care and sincerity.
I had to refuse him twice, especially with the way he was acting so needy. I got that he was being caring but it didn't seem like him at all and was going to take a minute or two for me to get used to it.
“You don't have to worry. Thank you,” I told him and he nodded in response.
I was desperate to figure out something but was still feeling very perplexed trying to look for a suitable moment to ask him the question. He was so focused on his phone that I thought about it.
