I was so intrigued by what Alex was saying that I didn't even realize when Wayne left. It took me a minute but I didn't feel bothered by it, especially since we had spent the entire day together.
“You want to help me with something?” Alex asked and for a moment I felt perplexed but eager to know what he was talking about.
He gave me a sheepish smile and dragged me out of there to a familiar building. I didn't even realize that there was such a building existing in the palace and it was extraordinarily beautiful.
“Did you use to own this place?” I asked, admiring the entire features and he nodded in response.
“Well, this was Wayne's favorite spot alongside Mara but since her death, he hasn't even stepped foot here.”
