Loki’s POV
“Don’t you think we should confront her to know her stance on coming back?” Jonathan asked after a few minutes of silence, running his hand through his wavy blond hair.
“Do we need to?” Elijah was feeling irritated already. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’re becoming attached to our dear Ms. Arielle, Jonathan.”
“Jonathan is right, Elijah.” We need to make sure she doesn’t feel hurt or feel unwanted enough to turn us away.” Liam pointed out. “I know this is going to be a long stretch but we have to give it our all now.”
We were back to our study after our father dismissed us. For a moment when I was in there, I could hear the sound of victory. I was that close to getting what I wanted and setting myself and my brothers free but everything came crashing down.
