My eyes widened in shock as my jaw hung open for a few seconds before I snapped it shut.
Will you go out on a date with me?
I couldn’t believe Ethan had said that. He had been everything but romantic towards me during these past few months, we had a cordial relationship without any sign of s****l intimacy between us. But over the past few weeks, he’s stared at me and held my hands for longer.
I thought nothing about it but I was pleased he was starting to see me in a different light other than a little wolf he ought to protect.
“Arielle, you have to say something.” Ethan’s voice interrupted my train of thought and forced me back to reality.
“I’ll understand if you think this shouldn’t happen or if you think it’s forced but I just wanted to get it off my mind.”
