Chapter 6 Jameson’s heart pounded, and nerves made his fingers shake as he cleaned the blood from Tyler’s face again. He’d coughed up some blood when Jameson turned him on his side, and even though Jameson knew to expect it, it still startled him. He did his best not to let it show, even though his pulse thundered in his veins. “You’re okay,” Jameson murmured. He glanced down and lifted the pad just a bit away from Tyler’s chest, so he could see how the ghostwalker was healing. The wound was closed. “I’ve got you.” Tears leaked from Tyler’s eyes, but he wasn’t crying as hard as some of the others.
