Engagement surprise

Jack knows that he always said he does not want children now, but thinking of becoming a father warms his heart. He will be the best father in the world. He walks to Tammy and picks her up, and kisses her.
"I am going to be a father, ain't I?" He asks.
Tammy looks at him nervously and nods. Jack kisses her again and smiles.
"You just made me the happiest man alive." Jack says.
"Really? I thought you were going to be mad." Tammy says.
"No, babe. I am happy and proud." Jack says.
Jayden and Cathy look at the two. Jayden seems surprised, and Cathy seems happy.
"You knew about this?" Jayden asks Cathy. She nods.
"I bet Jayda knew." Jayden says.
"She is Tammy's doctor, so yes." Cathy says.
"I am always the last to know what is happening in the family." Jayden says unhappily. Cathy and Jayden congratulate the couple and walk away to give them a few minutes' privacy.
Jason is nervous as he goes to Dante and Jennie after his meeting. He can not just ask their daughter to marry him without their permission. His father taught him manners from a young age and respected any person older than him.
He knocks nervously on the front door of Don Casella's mansion. The butler opens and takes him to the living room and tells him to wait so he can call Mr and Mrs Hudson. He does not know Jason knows their secret. As Dante and Jennie enter the living room, they are glad to see Jason. They both know why he is here as they read the news about him and Jayda.
Jason stands up, and he is as tall as Dante. Jason jocks and goes to the gym every day, and he is in good shape as Dante.
"Don, Donna Casella, I am here to ask you something." Jason says as he greets them.
"Well, we know why you are here, so I will make it easy on you and say yes, you may have our daughter's hand in marriage." Dante says.
"I still have to ask formally as my father will be mad if I do not. Don, Donna, may I please marry Jayda?" Jason says.
"Yes, you may, and we will be happy to have a great son-in-law like you in our lives, Jason." Jennie says. They drink tea. Jason looks at his watch.
"I will have to leave since Jayda is leaving at five today, and I plan to ask her tonight." Jason says.
"You were so sure we would say yes?" Dante asks, but he smiles.
"Well, I bet I am better than that Klaus guy from Germany." Jason says.
"Yeah, I never liked him. He never showed respect and talked to us as if he was better than us. He thinks his parents are wealthy, and him being a doctor makes him more like a god than a human being." Dante says.
"Well, he is on his way here, so I better get that ring on Jayda's finger." Jason says.
"Good luck, son. Kick that German out of her life for good." Dante says. He has walked out with Jason to his car.
"Thank you, Don. I will try my best." Jason says.
"I can always remove him from the earth if he gives you too many problems." Dante says seriously.
"I think I can handle him." Jason says.
"Well. You know where to get me if you need help." Dante says. He greets Jason as he does not want him to be late picking up Jayda.
Jason goes to pick Jayda up, and she is waiting for him in front of the hospital. She just walked out, and some of the nurses talked to her. Jason is a casual CEO and would sometimes show up at work wearing a t-shirt and jeans. But today he had a meeting and was wearing a suit. Jayda looks at him as he walks towards her with his Armani suit. He looks handsome, and some of the nurses can not help but stare at him. It makes Jayda proud to call Jason her guy.
"You are so damn lucky, Dr Jayda." Ruby says.
She liked Dr Jayda from the first day she worked at the hospital. However, Ruby can not help but feel jealous as she looks at the attractive CEO of Morgan Gaming Company. He is tall and well built, and his short black hair and deep brown eyes attack every woman's attention. Jason looks aloof, but when he sees Jayda, his eyes show his love for her. He walks to Jayda and greets the other people around her with a head nod.
Jason takes Jayda's hand as he is hurrying to get home. He does not want Klaus to show up as soon as he lands and spoil the night. Jason has arranged for the security at the apartment to tell anyone who looks for Jayda that she is not home tonight. He does not like that Klaus is on his way to LA or may have even landed yet.
As they get to the apartment building, Jayda does not even have a chance to look for mail as Jason pulls her into the elevator. The ring is in his suit jacket's pocket, and he can not wait to put it on Jayda's finger.
As Jayda walks into her apartment, she sees a beautiful red dress on her bed with white shoes. She sees a note from Jason to put on the dress and come to the rooftop of the building.
Jayda smiles as it is the first time Jason is so romantic. Does it mean he wants to take their relationship to the next level? The idea does not scare Jayda as she knows she loves Jason and that he will forever be her everlasting love. She can not even think of a world without Jason.
She smiles and takes a quick shower before putting on the dress. She walks up the stairs that lead to the rooftop. Jayda stops and stares at the beautiful sight in front of her.
Jason stands there with his hands in his pockets and looks at Jayda, gorgeous in the red dress. He pulls out a chair for her, and Jayda sits down at the table for two. The food is kept warm, and Jason walks over with the food trolley. It contains seafood and all kinds of wonderful dishes. After they ate, Jason pulled his chair closer to Jayda's, and Jayda could feel her heart beating like a drum in her chest.
"Jayda, I'll tell you this, I don't really wanna be your friend. I can't see you love someone else. So I would rather lose it all and take this chance than just be friends. I love you, Jayda." Jason says. He gets on one knee, and Jayda feels like she will cry, not because she is sad but because she is so happy.
"Jayda Hudson, will you marry me?" Jason asks. He opens the box and takes out the beautiful ring. Jayda looks at it in awe.
