Danielle was feeling better and made a key lime pie for dinner. Mrs. Hamilton had sent a delicious dinner, and she waited for Knox to return home. The whole day, she had worked from home, building up a reliable database to fall back on. With Loretta backing out at the last minute, she knew she couldn’t provide dating services anymore.

The whole day she tried calling Loretta, but she avoided her call. Danielle had expected her to change her mind about leaving Happy Matchmakers, but even after twenty-four hours, she hadn’t.
