Now alone, she rested her head for a few more moments. She gave her word to Master Ao, and now it was time to keep her promise.
Helena went to a specific secret compartment Mister Wizard installed in the bookcase. There were many, and she used them all. The one she needed now stashed the Dragon Dagger for safe keeping. Pushing and pulling the intricate combinations of slides popped open the door. Her fingers touched the protective cloth, and she stretched deeper to grab the handle. Removing it from the hiding place, she unwrapped the oilcloth that covered the corroded weapon.
