“You should have learned to mind your own business.” A German accent came from out of view of the trio. Helena wasn’t sure, but there had to be a back exit to her father’s workshop.
Helena was startled. All she could think of was Kapitän Eric von Eberhard, the Rakshasa disguised as a German officer they left back in Guangzhou. Her hand reached for her pistol. She would not fall to the monster in human skin.
