The noise on the other side of the door continues to be heard, but this time with great insistence. The queen comes to the door in surprise and catches Attinkpon knocking insistently on the door. She watches him for a moment without him realizing it. Just as she wants to knock again, the queen puts her hand on Attinkpon's wrist and pulls it away, looking at him with a look of suspicion. When Attinkpon sees the queen, he takes two steps back before saying:
- Excuse me, my queen.
The queen overtakes him and opens directly the door to present herself in the room.
Attinkpon watches her go into the room, panicked as well. He knew what was going on, so he was afraid of reprisals and did not want the queen discovers the pot of roses.
