It was a long journey, and Helene had to stop now and then for me to throw up. I was able to find a bathroom and brush my teeth before getting something to eat. I had my vitamins to take, so I could not go hungry.
When we finally arrived, it was at a cabin that was deep in the woods. Elly's friend, a man named Alex, was there waiting for us. He had an intimidated aura to him, but I wasn't going to show him that I was afraid. Helene and I got out of the car after she parked it and made our way over to him.
“Elly told me that you'll be staying here, so I'm going to give you the key.” He took out the key and handed it to Helene.
“She also mentioned something about you being pregnant, I'm a doctor, so as long as you're here, I will be giving you free checkups if you don't mind.
