Elizabeth’s POV Lisa had become quiet. Was she in shock? Did I tell her too much at once? My arm still hurt, and it felt like I was holding it over an open fire. I had to switch on the lights again. Not that it made any difference; we could see just fine in the dark, thanks to our wolf abilities. “Are you okay?” I asked, worried. “Yes,” she answered softly, “it’s just a bit overwhelming.” “Why are you caged up?” the voice boomed and echoed in the small room.
