Alexander’s POV I took my seat among the ranks. I was still miserable, annoyed, and irritated, and the constant whining from Kevin was officially driving me insane. Kevin wanted out. He was scratching at the surface to be let out and make nothing of Stacy. “Calm down, son.” Dad had placed his hand on my shoulder and squeezed it. “She will be all right.” I wanted to scream at him, “It’s my mate down there fighting for her life, not yours!” but I kept quiet and held my composure. “I love you,” my beautiful mate’s voice said over the link. I looked down at her, seeing her smiling at me as if this were just another training section. “I love you too,” I couldn’t help but feel this warm, bubbling feeling burst inside of me. She loves me.
