“You left me with scars and said that you were never involved.”
Katerina gave herself a break from her irrational thoughts, fully dressing on resuming once she dressed for wherever Marcus wanted to take her.
She was not dressing for Zachary or anyone else for that matter. Katerina just wanted to see if he could keep his emotions in check.
Someone knocked on her chamber's door around an hour later she came from the forest. Zachary stepped into her chamber as Marcus entered and leaned against the wall.
"Does he stay with you all the time?" Marcus glanced at her, a confused look on his face.
Katerina chuckled and shook her head, "As long as you're here, he is."
"Well, I'm no threat to Rina." Said Marcus with a smirk before winking at her as Zachary's gaze was solely focused on Katerina.
