Chapter12: Late in the Evening March 16: late in the evening Miller found his way back to my Tudor, unannounced. This time, he used the front door like a gentleman, knocking before entering. His face had turned crimson red from the morning cold. He waved a hand in front of his face and over his head since the wind had mussed his hair. “Miller?” I questioned him at the door. “What are you doing here?” He grunted. “We need to renegotiate our relationship.” I wanted to tell him we didn’t have a relationship; certainly, not after his previous surprise visit.
