Chapter 12
At eleven precisely, Jayson was outside The Brasserie. He felt totally responsible for what had happened and wanted to make it up to Armand. To his delight, he only had to wait five minutes for Armand and a blond girl to leave the building. Locking the door securely, they spoke briefly before the girl headed off in the opposite direction to where Jayson was parked.
A few seconds later Armand was in the car, sitting and smiling at him. A sense of calm settled over Jayson. “Does your colleague need a lift?” Although he wanted to get his lover home, Jayson was willing to make sure Armand’s friend was safe.
“No. Her car is just over there.” Armand leaned forward and kissed Jayson softly. “But it was a nice offer, thank you.”
